Ok, so the reason this board was created kinda goes back to a long time ago when I was involved in a lot of written RPG's and such. If someone knew that they were going out of town for a week, or had upcoming tests and wouldn't be posting for a couple of days, or something of the like...they would post in a board such as this to let everyone else know so that either play could continue without them, or the other members would know that they didn't need to check certain threads until the absentee member got back.
So, the way I'd like this to work (and let me know if you have better ideas), is if you know that you'll not be posting for more than a day, let us know!

In the subject line, put first the date(s) you'll be absent followed by your character(s) first names.
Then in the message area, put the dates absent again, the campaign(s) you'll be skipping out on, and a little blurb about why you wont be here (that you feel comfortable telling people online). Even a "I'm just going to be busy" would be ok, if you're worried about online stalkers XD. Also, please tell us if you'd just like the character to be skipped or, if you feel comfortable, let us know who you'd like to control your character for your leave of absence.
So, for example
Subject Line: 10/25-10/27 Kojania
Message:
Dates gone: 10/25/2010 to 10/27/2010
Campaign: Jeremy's campaign (rename)
Reason: I'm going out of town for a few days to visit family, and wont be near a computer the whole time. Be back soon!
I would prefer just to be skipped as i'm only going to be gone 2 days
End example.
Also, this board can be used for any Star Wars Dice campaign on the site.
If you guys have any thoughts or ideas regarding this, go ahead and start another thread in the board and in the subject just put "Ideas" or something
