Jab-Jab's eyestalks surveyed the room. She swiveled around in the liquid to see if anything was around her. What is this place? Where am I? "Hello," she tried to say, but it ended up sounding more like whalesong. She reached out in front of her and tapped on the wall of the container, hoping someone might hear.

Purely by coincidence, a nurse of sorts entered the room, staring at a datapad. Seeing Jab-Jab moving around, he nearly jumped backward out of surprise. She wasn't a species that Jab-Jab recognized, appearing aquatic in nature. In a language she couldn't understand, the Nurse appeared to call into the other room. Moments later a being of the same species in a brown tunic entered. He spoke to Jab-Jab, as if she should understand him. The speech was gutteral and seemed muffled, as if he was speaking through water. Discovering that Jab-Jab clearly couldn't understand him, he made a sharp motion toward the nurse. She in turn moved to the small computer and typed in a few commands.
A spiral formed at Jab-Jab's feet, and the liquid around her drained away. The tank was opened, and she was directed to another small door behind her. Inside, she found her pants and then a flowing white shirt.

Jab-Jab stepped out of the tank carefully, the muscles in her legs felt like jelly. She walked into the next room cautiously and put on the clothes. "Thank you," she said in Basic to the male creature that had shown her the door. She had never seen this species before, but the language they seemed to be speaking sounded like Gungan in that it was guttural and wet. "My name is Jab-Jab Rawocky," she spoke again.

He nodded as if he understood, but said nothing more. Motioning for her to follow, he went into an adjacent room. The room was shaped like a hexagon, each side had another door. They probably led to similar rooms. A twilek female approached the Gungan. She appeared to have a kindly demeanor, and greeted Jab-Jab with a smile. "Its good to see you awake." she said. "I'm sure you have questions..."

"Yes," Jab-Jab nodded, "many. What planet is this? How long have I been unconscious?" She pulled the tunic up to look at her stomach, she had just remembered what had happened when she landed. She ran her fingers over her skin, feeling the small ridges of the scar, then lowered the shirt again and was quiet. There was a lot on her mind, and she didn't know what was more important to ask first. This would set them back on their mission. Us... They're gone. Jab-Jab wondered if she could get the crystals back on her own, or if she even wanted to continue. She hurt.

Motioning to a nearby easy chair, the twilek offered Jab-Jab a seat and then took the chair across from her. She chuckled at the creature's desire to learn. At least she could speak basic. Felnya had never seen this type of being before and didn't know quite what to expect. " You are currently in a medical facility on Manaan. You've been unconscious for just under two week. Kolto can work wonders. Even so, we were worried you might not wake up. Before we move on, my name is Felnya. What can I call you?" She asked.

Jab-Jab blinked, taken aback. Manaan? Kolto? "You may call me Jab-Jab. I've never heard of Manaan before. Nor have I heard of Kolto, is it like Bacta?"

If the twilek was surprised, she didn't show it. Continuing in her calming voice she said, " Well it would make sense if you aren't familiar with Manaan that you aren't familiar with Kolto. Its Manaan's major export. The Selkath procure it from the ocean's bottom in order to provide its healing qualities to many different groups within the galaxy. The Republic and the Sith being the major parties." As she finished, a computerized voice indicated that the scan of Jab-Jab- had completed.

"The Sith?" Jab-Jab was taken aback yet again. "They've been dead for centuries! They're only just starting to come back and they're already getting involved in trade?" Jab-Jab shook her head in disbelief and guilt. I guess this means we failed.

Felnya's eyes narrowed. "Dead for centuries? she asked. " They've been a constant in the galaxy for as long as I can remember." She turned away as an intern approached, handing her a piece of paper. "Hm..." she muttered under her breath, as she skimmed the page. "Please don't take the offensively, but what species are you exactly? We have no records in my database and the computer could only speculate that you're a hybrid of one or more better known species."

"Don't know what species..... I'm a Gungan! They may not exactly be popular now, but we did our fair share of exploring. And not to mention the invasion of Naboo by the Trade Federation." Jab-Jab was starting to piece things together. That strange light that acted like a black hole...what was it? Did it put her in another part of the galaxy? Or in a different time?

Felyna frowned. "What Trade Federation?" she asked, clearly frustrated. This....Gungan.....was beginning to seem as if she might've sustained brain damage. In any case Felyna couldn't spend more time with a creature who didn't make sense. She had other patients to tend to and was simply talkin with the...Gungan... to ease the fact that she'd been unconscious for several weeks.
Standing abruptly, Felyna motioned for a door behind Jab-Jab. " In there you'll find the other things we managed to recover after the crash. And a rather irate....creature. We assume its a pet of some sort. You'll have to excuse me, I have other patients to attend to."
With that, she turned and exited through another of the doors.

Jab-Jab bowed her head in silence. She stood up and walked through the door that had been indicated, wondering what had happened to her.

Opening the door, a large catlike creature pounced on Jab-Jab, knocking her onto her back. It growled for a moment, but then its expression relaxed and it began to purr. It was clear that this was Chirpa Jr., but he had become full grown in was seemed like overnight.

Oomph! Jab-Jab staggered backward a step, then her face lit up. "Chirpa! You're such a big boy! How did you grow so fast?" She scratched the scales behind his ears and above his eyes, looking behind him to see what else was there.
