Alarms blared, filling Jab-Jab's ears with incessant high pitched noise. The cruiser shifted beneath her feet, seeming to recognize its impending doom. Rather than fight, the weary old ship would rather roll over and die.
After finally making it through the ship to the modified observation deck that was being used as the command center, Jab-Jab and her group were confronted by many seasoned veterans. They didn't pose too much of a threat, however, and the group made it through with only a few scratches. The captain of the ship was forced to address them, and talked while backing toward his central computer station. His voice, weary as the ship he commanded, wavered but pleaded with them to allow him to live and to save his ship. He even urged them to consider an alliance. His life in exchange for his services and his ship. He had no love of the Empire and was trying to escape, defect even if possible.
However, his speech was only a distraction. Upon reaching his console he activated a self-destruct system, leaving only 5 minutes before the ship would be destroyed. The captain truly did want peace, but as he'd discovered the galaxy wasn't ready for the secrets his ship possessed. Instead, the only option was to take his ship and her secrets with him. Smiling the sad smile of one who has long awaited death, he welcomed the blaster bolts in his chest, slipping comfortably into unconsciousness. Koth tried desperately to stop the destruct sequence, but wasn't able to even with all his computer and hacking knowledge.
Desperation set in as they wondered if they could even escape aboard their ship in time. Dashing to the turbo lift, the group took it down. As it quickly descended, something hit the cruiser. The lift fell suddenly as if it was knocked off its tracks. It crashed onto the hanger floor, spilling Jab-Jab and the rest of the party out onto the hard metal floor. Resisting unconsciousness, Jab-Jab peered around, blood dripping down her forehead and into her eyes. Koth and Misha were bleeding, heavily. They lay before her, knocked out. Jab-Jab had to make a decision and quick, precious seconds were ticking by...
Jab-Jab the move is yours, please roll a Reflex save and a Fortitude save. You take 6 wound Damage. DC 15 for reflex to halve the damage.

Jab-Jab and the gang made their way up to the control room, Koth and Jab-Jab viciously killing everything in their path (not without a glint in their eyes) while Misha fought solemnly. When the officer set the self-destruct, Jab-Jab grinned over at Koth. They were of the same mindset, and they raised their blasters and fired together into the man's chest.
"We have to get out of here," Jab-Jab shouted over the alarms, and she grabbed Koth's hand and put her other arm around Misha, urging them all to the exit. They took the lift down, and when it shuddered and crashed to the bottom, she looked around, dazed. She saw her friends laying on the ground, bleeding. They weren't moving. She crawled to both of them, muttering "no, no, no, no" over and over again, and she tried to feel for a pulse. Did Bothans and Togrutas have the same veins and arteries as other bipedals? Jab-Jab's hands were shaking too much to feel anything anyway. How much time was left? She didn't know. Blood and tears clouded her eyes, her mouth quivered. She remembered being tired earlier. She still had not slept. She was tired now. Jab-Jab was about ready to lie down and die with them, but she knew she could not.
She stood up wearily and walked to their ship, ignoring the bodies inside. She got the ship up and running and flew out of the hanger. Even at full speed, though, the ship was not moving very fast. Jab-Jab remembered the gravity wells, that they were probably still on. Furious, she pounded her fist down on the controls and slammed the chair away as she fell to her knees and buried her face in her hands, letting out a cry of anguish. This was for nothing. This was all for nothing.

Jab-Jab was correct in assuming the gravity wells were still operating. Not having enough time with the self destruct activating, Koth hadn't managed to take down the wells or the tractor beam. So, while the ship appeared to be moving slowly, it was actually slowing down entirely before being dragged back toward the cruiser's death trap.
The five minutes finally went up, and in a brilliant flash the ship exploded. Unlike in movies and the like, it was a very silent and solemn affair. Jab-Jab watched out the window as a small orb of yellow orange grew quickly in size from the center of the imperial interdictor. It was beautiful in a way, watching the ship crack cleanly in two before splintering into little bits, the orb of energy and light engulfing it. The explosion rocked the little guardian Cruiser, causing alarms to blare and lights to blink frantically on the control board. As the yellow-orange light diminished, Jab-Jab was surprised to see another light.
Due to the brilliance and power of the explosion, this light wasn't quickly evident. But, as the explosion died away, a small circle of intense blue was seen. It grew in size, and a humming could be heard. While this probably wasn't emanating from the circle itself, the power it was creating could easily be sending pulses of such a magnitude to make Jab-Jab's entire ship hum and vibrate. And vibrating it did. At first the vibration was subtle and then it grew in power as the circle grew. Soon Jab-Jab realized the circle wasn't really blue, but intensely bright around the edges. As it grew in size, the larger pieces of the Imperials cruiser seemed to be draw to it, and shortly after contact with the circle, they disappeared entirely.
There was nothing Jab-Jab could do, her ship was caught in the graviational pull, and though she may have tried many things to get her ship away, no ship in her class could've escaped. The captain may have had knowledge of such phenomenon, but not even he could've predicted the cataclysmic power of the cruiser's explosion could power their machine one final time before it was lost forever.
Only moments later, the Guardian class cruiser was drawn into the circle and time seemed to slow. All around Jab-Jab, the ship seemed to stretch and elongate into oblivion. In scared fascination, she sat petrified as first the console and then her chair and eventually, to her horror, parts of her body stretched in slow motion. After that, all she remembers is blackness; deep, dark, comforting oblivion.
OOC: Jab-Jab, you take 3 damage (I'll modify your wound points accordingly)
Jab- Jab has fallen unconsious. While this may mean she has no knowledge of whats around her...if she fails to wake up, dreaming of sorts is still possible.
Please make a Will save DC 12 to regain consciousness. Please note, each turn you do not regain consciousness, the DC will increase by 1.

Jab-Jab saw a flash of light through her tightly shut eyes and looked up out the window. Why was the self-destruct explosion of such a large vessel so small and contained? She stood up with a stony face, she had resigned herself to dieing, and now she wasn't going to?
Then she saw the second light. She noticed the sensors alerting her of the light's gravitational pull on the ship. Jab-Jab didn't try to escape, she didn't move away from the window. She noticed everything getting longer. Is this what going through a black hole is like? She didn't think she would die from her molecules being torn apart, but at least she would die.
As Jab-Jab began to elongate as well, she was overcome with thousands of feelings all over her body, a million physical sensations she couldn't describe. Her brain couldn't handle it and she collapsed, unconscious.
It was as though every thought Jab-Jab had ever had was in her brain at once. She saw Chirpa die over and over. She saw herself saying goodbye to her father for the last time. She saw Misha training her in the force. She saw herself and Koth and all the people they had killed together. Every time she saw each image, heard each thought, it all started over again, going faster and faster each time, until it was all a blur and no image was distinguishable from the next. Jab-Jab's brain could not even support an unconscious mind and everything stopped, her body gave up trying to live.
What seemed like an eternity later, Jab-Jab's eyes opened. She was awake. She was alive. She didn't know how long she had been unconscious, where the ship was, or even if it had somehow all been a dream.

Regaining consiousness the first thing Jab-Jab became aware of was the throbbing pain in her back. The second thing was the she was laying horizontal on the metal deck of her ship. The third was the alarms going off. This alarm was different, and much worse than a simple collision alarm, however. This alarm signified the presence of a large gravity well, also known as a planet, and Jab-Jab's ship was drifting every closer to it. Whatever had happened had shut off the ship. Its engines were cold and would take time to turn on once more.
OOC: Alrighty, the ship will take 3 rounds to become fully operational again. Make a piloting check DC 15 to decrease that time to 1. In addition, each round you get closer to the planet. If the ship's engines aren't operational by round 2, the DC to start the engines will increase to 25.

Jab-Jab got up off of the hard floor and went to the console to see what the alarm was and saw that the ship was accelerating quickly toward a planet. Shit, she growled, automatically springing into action. She attempted to turn the engines on, flipping a switch here, checking a gauge there. With a sigh of relief, she heard the engines start to warm up. In the meantime, she set the sensors to scan the planet, hoping to gain a little information about where she was going to have a very bad landing.
Jab-Jab turned on the radio and said, "Guardian class light cruiser, designation J-E-T dash four three one, coming in hot, requesting instructions for landing." She waited for about three seconds before switching to another channel and trying again. She did this on every channel to see if anyone was listening.

Outside the ship, the large deep blue planet grew larger and larger. The sensor indicated several ships in the area, but they seemed to be giving the drifting JET a wide berth. The scan of the planet revealed a large installation built on the ocean, and a sprinkling of small islands in the vicinity. Other than that there was only the vast expanse of ocean.
Coming through garbled at first - though Jab-Jab's quick use of the computer cleaned the signal up - was, "We read you JET. Thank god someone is up there. We've been trying to hail you for quite some time. This is the dock control of Ahto city. Try to take your ship in slow. We'll monitor your progress. You have docking clearance in port 35, but if you can't make that a controlled crash landing in the ocean would be acceptable. We'll keep this channel open in case you require further assistance". With that, the line went silent, but the click - signifying the line going dead - wasn't heard.
At that moment, the engines sputtered to life, jerking Jab-Jab's ship closer to the planet.

Jab-Jab sighed in relief when she heard the voice on the other end, but she didn't relax. After all, she had a crashing ship to save. "Copy that," she replied and returned to landing the ship, leaving her radio on as well. Where's Ahto City? What planet is it on? Jab-Jab had never heard of the place, even while she was traveling the galaxy in her earlier days. She would focus on where she was once she knew she was going to live.
The engines were finally warmed up and ready to go, so Jab-Jab decided to try for Port 35 rather than an "emergency ocean landing." She tried to slow down her approach drastically so that when she got closer to the landing area she could turn on the repulsor lifts.

Jab-Jab's valiant effort to control her ship was in vain. Whether it was the trajectory, or Jab-Jab's lack of piloting skill, the ship seemed to accelerate all the faster. The clouds in the upper atmosphere seemed to fly by at tremendous speed, and much sooner than expected the brilliant blue oceans of Manaan rose up to greet the JET-341. Luckily, the docking facility, knowing that the guardian class cruiser might have difficulty landing had cleared the docking bay directly in her path. Far in the distance, Jab-Jab's keen eyes could barely make out the number 35 on the horizon, written in white numbers above the sparklingly clean dock of Manaan.
The docking facility, monitoring Jab-Jab's progress grew more and more on edge as the incoming ship showed no signs of slowing or changing heading. " Pull up, or you'll hit the ocean with too much force!" they yelled at Jab-Jab through the communicator. Their voices seemed distant and quiet as blood rushed through Jab-Jab's ears and adrenaline pumped through her veins.
"Engage your repulsor lifts! shouted the dock controller, desperately trying to keep the cruiser in the air. Luckily, Jab-Jab's quick reflexes allowed her to turn on the repulsor lifts in the nick of time. The JET-341 skimmed across the ocean like a smooth stone before righting itself a few hundred feet above the waves.
Jab-Jab's ship was still moving at incredible speed, and it was evident that she wouldn't be able to slow it down in time to dock safely. Not knowing how deep the docking port was, the ship had a serious possibility to smash itself to bits on the walls of Ahto city.
The docking port loomed ever closer, leaving only split seconds to make a decision.
OOC:
Make a reflex save, DC 12. If you succeed you may choose to attempt to land in the docking port, or veer to the left and make an emergency landing on the ocean (that would include turning off the overly strained repulsor lifts). If you fail, you must attempt to dock in the port, piloting check DC 25 for as little damage as possible.
If you decide to land in the ocean, make a piloting check DC 15 for as little damage as possible in the crash landing.

Jab-Jab knew she didn't have the skill to dock the ship on the landing. If Koth had been there, he would have made it look easy, she was sure. Instead, Jab-Jab decided to land in the ocean. She veered off to the side of the floating city, switched off the repulsor lifts after another attempt to slow the ship, then picked her pack up off of the floor and ducked behind the control console, anchoring herself to the floor between the console and the chair.

The hard pull to the left coupled with the repulsor lifts being turned off, cause the ship to tilt dangerously toward its side. The first moment it hit the water jolted Jab-Jab only slightly, but she could feel the ship taking a much steeper entry. The ship only skipped once, and then hit the water, hard. Jab-Jab was thrown into the bulkhead. All around her the ship creaked and moaned. Water began to pool at Jab-Jab's feet. It was cold, but the sight was almost welcoming in her last moments of coherence. It reminded her of her home back on Naboo before she left it all.
Her vision swam before her, but she noticed a strange sensation in her stomach. Looking down, she noticed that a think chunk of shrapnel protruded from it. Trying to move, she noted that she couldn't without taking her body off of the metal within herself, and she didn't have the energy. The cold water mixed with her warm blood, reddening. The last thing Jab-Jab remembers is the sight of a four legged creature entering the cockpit. Her last sensation was a cold nose against her arm along with several tugs against her sleeve.
Jab-Jab takes 5 wound damage, decreasing your wounds to -1. Make a fortitude saving through DC 10 to stop taking wound damage. If you fail, you take 1 additional wound damage each time you fail. If you succeed your become stabilized.
If you successfully stabilize yourself, you can attempt to regain consciousness. Fortitude save DC 15. If you fail you remain unconscious in "dream land" =p

Jab-Jab heard a crunch as the front of the ship buckled and splintered when it hit the water. Even though her eyes were shut when it happened, she heard the air whistling as the piece of metal flew toward her. When it lodged itself into her stomach, her eyes opened wide and her fingers unclenched. She fell back from the leg of the chair she had been holding on to, unconscious.

Seconds, Minutes, Days, Months. Jab-Jab didn't know how much time had passed. She actually really didn't even have much sensation. Over the time she's been out there were moments of coherence when vivid images would fill her eyes and assault her mind. The sensation of being in water never left. Countless bubbles filling her vision and running around her body. One of the times she awoke briefly she her mumbled words and saw blob-like beings swimming before her. Life seemed like an eternity, trapped inside her own mind. Was this even life? Perhaps she was simply being prepared for wherever gungans go after they pass. Only time would tell.
OOC: Go ahead and try to wake up again.

Jab-Jab's eyes open slowly. A clear-greenish liquid surrounds her, and a breath mask is strapped around her face. Bubbles float quickly to the top of the tank she's in, caressing and tickling her skin as they move. Her eyes move around the small room the tank is in. A single computer is across the room from her, displaying vital signs. Other than that, the room is empty.
